I wish Leonard Cohen had recorded a Christmas album. I understand that there would probably be an inherent conflict of interests considering his last name, but I'm sure it would have been an interesting melancholy take on some holiday classics.
It's hardly a Christmas Album but Leonard Cohen performed "Silent Night" at least once. He and Jennifer Warnes sang Silent Night at the performance in Brighton, England on 12/15/1979. While the quality of the recording is not excellent, an mp3 of Silent Night (I'm assuming it is a recording from the Brighton concert)is available for downloading at http://www.twoshakesofalambstail.com/storeroom/Silent_Night.mp3
I have an mp3 of some comedian doing Leonard Cohen singing about Christmas. I actually found you while trying to figure out who did the routine. But it's hysterical and I can email it to you if you shoot me an address
